New Hope-Solebury School District is seeking a highly qualified Long-Term Substitute Teacher to join our first-grade team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. **Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the established first-grade curriculum, utilizing a variety of instructional methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Provide individualized support and differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Cultivate a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and a love for learning.
- Collaborate effectively with the first-grade team, including fellow teachers, specialists, and support staff, to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all students.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress and academic achievements.

**Qualifications**:

- A valid PA teaching certificate, K-5
- Prior experience teaching or working with young children in a school setting is highly desirable.
- A demonstrated passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to establish a well-organized and engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in differentiating instruction to cater to the needs of all learners.
- A commitment to fostering social-emotional development in young children.
