Mack Boring is a well-established business with a 100-year plus heritage We are looking to add a Junior Supply Chain Planner to our team

**Excellence in Role Requires Ownership and Accomplishment of the following**:

- Monitor buyer’s queues to ensure emergency orders are processed timely and efficiently.
- Obtain lead time and shipping dates from vendors and notify all internal customers of any issues, changes, or discrepancies.
- Assist in the quoting and order all parts inventory, work to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
- Assist in the processing of vendor returns.
- Assist accounting department with posting of vendor bills.
- Reconcile invoices, resolve purchase orders discrepancies with accounts payable.
- Process expense purchase orders for all non-inventory items.
- Assist in the maintenance and processing of demand planning platform.

**Education, Skills and Work Experience**:

- BS/BA in Supply Chain and 2+ years of experience in a purchasing or inventory control role.
- Excellent time management, organization, and communications skills; oral, written and telephone.
- General knowledge of business accounting practices and enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in the use Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
- Previous experience with NetSuite is a plus.

**Specific Job Requirements**:

- 10% of local travel
- Ability to lift to 25 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit in an indoor warehouse environment for short periods of time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
