**job description**:event bar staff

**pay rate**:$20 per hour

**job responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following**
- pack out of all bar related items from the company warehouse to event venue
- unloading / loading of all bar related items on-site at events
- unloading of all bar related items from the event back to company
- provide completed bar inventory sheet with starting/ending bar inventory noted. Fill out a consumption sheet when necessary.
- set up and break down Event Bars on-site at events per guidelines
- consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
- have full knowledge of the beverage menus being offered at each event
- follow policies, procedures and service standards per employee handbook
- have knowledge of bar menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- drive tco truck or van from warehouse to events and back

**job qualifications**:

- previous bartending experience is preffered
- previous Point of Sale System (Square) experience an asset
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- highly responsible & reliable
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow written and verbal directions, while working cohesively as part of a team
- ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- a valid driver's license is required

**physical aspects of position (include but are not limited to)**
- constant standing and walking throughout shift, on average 8 - 12 hours
- frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
- occasional kneeling, pushing and pulling
- occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 30 per week
