Music Director

Job Summary:
Main Street United Methodist Church is seeking a talented and passionate Music Director/Chancel Choir Director to lead our music program. In this part-time position, you will be primarily responsible for all music relating to worship and other events hosted by the church.

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote the spiritual life of the congregation through music ministry.
- Select appropriate musical pieces for performances and rehearsals.
- Conduct rehearsals and lead musical performances.
- Provide leadership and guidance to musicians, singers, and other staff members.
- Communicate effectively with team members, performers, and committee members.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Music Director or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in conducting musical ensembles.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $14,000.00 - $15,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
