CNC Programmer

**Job Overview**:
Midland Plastics is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team In this key role, you will develop Mastercam programs to control machining or processing of plastic parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.

- Prepare CNC programs as per drawings/instructions using Mastercam, Solidworks and Autocad. Able to generate CNC programs to support new products/tooling projects.
- Develop fixtures and tooling for hand and machine operations.
- Write detailed shop instructions, including drafting drawings and layouts as needed for production and assembly.
- Perform first time set-up on parts and troubleshoot as needed.
- Assist estimator on quotations for complex parts or one-of-a-kind orders.
- Confer with manufacturing, engineering, programmers, estimators and other personnel to resolve machining and programming issues.
- Set-up and operate CNC machines with no supervision and be able to help train or instruct others on set-ups.
- Identify, resolve and/or communicate job or machine problems. Maintain safe and clean work area.

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
