Milk Hauler

This employee is responsible for the timely pick-up and delivery of milk from Country Dairy facilities to the dairy plant for processing. This full
- time position is required to have state certification in milk hauling which Country Dairy will facilitate and can be done after hire. This employee will be responsible for some other driving tasks as well. CDL is not required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Pick up milk from Country Dairy facilities and transport to Country Dairy’s dairy plant following state standards for milk hauling. This needs to be done on a schedule set by Country Dairy.
- Deliver cream to La Colombe, House of Flavors, and anywhere else as directed by CD management.
- Complete necessary paperwork at the conclusion of each milk load.
- Start tank sanitation in each facility after milk pick up.
- Was down the receiving bay at the dairy plant twice/week or as often as needed, clean and sanitize the milk truck, and be sure the milk truck is properly maintained.
- Milk testing may be required as determined by management.
- Milk haulers will need to complete Appendix N sampler training and certification.
- Train new milk haulers as needed and requested by Country Dairy management.
- Communicate with processors and with management regarding pick-up and delivery.

The successful employee must have:

- Semi-truck driving ability and experience, however CDL not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Some flexibility in work hours
