**Job Title**: Research Scientist IV

**Grade**: 27

**Salary**: $15,271.35 - $18,222.60

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review and standardize processes across all departments under the HRPP to maintain a holistic policy manual that aligns with compliance with GCP, institutional, and federal regulations
- Coordinate the process for accreditation by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Program (AAHRPP).
- Work closely with the director of the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI) IRB management to assume responsibility for interpretation and deployment of policies that govern the OMH IRBs at NKI and NYSPI.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree and five years of professional research experience in an appropriate field or master's degree in an appropriate field may substitute for one year of experience, or Ph.D. in an appropriate field may substitute for an additional year of experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 2+ year experience in IRB management
- 2+ year of experience in 45 CFR Part 46 and Part 160 and 21 CFR 812 and 312
