**Job Announcement**:

- The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a **Recreation Aide - Birthday Parties - Tumbleweed Recreation Center (part-time, temporary, non-benefited). **This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The position is scheduled to work both Saturdays and Sundays.

- **Who we are looking for**
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with great organizational skills along with great time management; a creative and adaptable individual with the ability to work without direct supervision; a confident people-person who enjoys working with children and is able to communicate with all ages.
- Typical duties will include supply and activity preparation, party room set-up and clean-up, interaction with both parents and children, leading the activities such as crafts, science experiments, sports/games, party games and/or bounce houses (including set-up and take down of a bounce house), enforcing policies etc.

- **Minimum qualifications**
- Some High School; no experience required; and
- A First Aid/CPR Certification, depending on assignment; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
