Technical Sales

InMetal, an ISO 9001:2015 registered precision sheet metal fabricator, is seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales professional to join the Sales team of our small manufacturing business. We are a highly respected make-to-order precision sheet metal fabricator with 75 years experience serving the needs of the high-tech, medical, scientific and electronics industries. Conveniently located just off I-95 in Sharon, MA.

The Technical Sales position is responsible for the sales of make-to-order products through new customer development and existing customer maintenance and growth.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead generation and prospect development;
- Timely estimating, quote preparation and submission;
- Negotiating and closing sales;
- Establishing and preserving strong customer relationships;
- Technical, quality and scheduling liaison between customers and company operations;
- Working with subcontract finish vendors

Qualifications:

- Experience in selling make-to-order or job-shop manufacturing services within the company’s marketplace;
- Excellent people skills: able to build strong working relationships with customers, vendors and all levels within the company;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong organization skills: able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment;
- Strong computer skills;
- Fluency with blueprint reading
- Professional, positive, can-do attitude

Preferred:

- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication;
- Estimating experience;
- Fluency with measuring equipment;
- Engineering training or education;
- CAD experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
