Operates and manages all aspects of an early education center, including human resources, customer relations, marketing, educational programs, financial responsibility, and physical facility. Serves as the go-to person for all Pre-School and Early Education classrooms, including monthly lesson plans, TRS and TSR requirements, supplies, scheduling, and meetings. Promotes positive image of the school within the community and on social media. Establishes strong working relationships with other state licensing authorities, local, and county health departments, and other regulatory agencies. Provides administrative support to Kids in Action administration, teachers, and families.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensures school compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Problem solving skills
- Implements health and safety standards, ensures that appropriate supervision of children.

- Have a professional appearance
- Keeps owners apprised in a timely manner of all critical areas of responsibilities, including serious student accidents, employee issues, and significant events. Develops and maintains a strong working relationship with all state licensing authorities, vendors, and community contacts.
- Scheduling for all Early Education and Pre-School teachers
- Find substitutes as needed, or fill in as substitute teacher if needed
- Posting teacher ads and hiring of new teachers
- With assistance from the Assistant Director, implementing Performance Improvement Plans, including follow-up
- As needed, meeting with employees for handbook violations, including instituting probation, suspension, and termination.
- Maintaining allergy rosters and emergency forms, including postings of allergies.
- Answering walkie code calls on daily basis.
- Transport after-schoolers/campers when short-staffed
- Delegation
- Special projects or other duties as assigned.

**Technology**
- Must be able to use an iPad
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to readily learn new computer programs
- Experience with Procare a plus

**Customer Service**
- Develops and actively maintains positive communication with parents.
- Recognizes parent concerns, evaluates course of action and responds appropriately to the needs of parents. Communicates parent concerns to the appropriate leaders and owner.
- Responsible for keeping un-enrolled children to a minimum; determines reasons for loss enrollment and addresses problem areas contributing to loss enrollment.

**Financial Responsibilities**
- Weekly Tuition and follow-up
- Ensures that computer-related record keeping requirements are met, to include tracking monetary transactions with customers and vendors.
- Maintains appropriate receipts on all credit card and bank transactions in a timely manner.
- Ensures that accounts receivable are closely monitored, and office administrators following up on delinquent accounts in timely manner
- Ensures that program supplies and equipment are inventoried and appropriately maintained.
- Closely monitor overtime hours.

**Human Resources**
- Assists Administration with recruiting, selecting, and properly training qualified staff. Fully onboarding all new hires.
- Anticipates staffing needs, prepares and posts weekly staffing schedule (or as changes are made) and modifies it according to daily student counts in each classroom. Ensures that state and local regulations are met at all times.
- Counsels staff regarding performance issues via personnel policies and the employee binder for corrective action.
- Evaluates direct reports on a 30, 60, 90, and yearly basis with a written performance review, and at other times as needed: recommends merit raises for staff within school guidelines.

**Marketing**
- Become familiar with Intellikids CRM (will train)
- Inputting all leads
- Pass along communication of new leads to Enrollment Specialist. In absence of Enrollment Specialist, gives prospective customers tours of the program and detailed information about the program’s educational philosophy and classroom teachers.
- Help plan and assist in all special events, including a few weekend events.

**Physical Facility**
- Maintains school, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe environment that meets Kids in Action and licensing safety standards.
