Beacon Tiki Boats - Boat Captain (50 Ton)

Beacon Tiki Boats is a Cambridge based boat company providing public and private tiki cruises along the Charles River. We are looking for captains to join us on the tiki boat for a fun summer

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring captains for our 2024 season (May - September) for both our public cruises and private events. The tiki boat is a 49 foot pontoon boat with twin Tohatsu engines. The cruise route will be along the Charles River with an occasional cruise out through the locks and into Boston Harbor.

Job Responsibilities:

- Ability to confidently drive 50ft twin screw vessels in close quarters
- Follow safety procedures in order to ensure protection of passengers and vessels
- Work as a team with the crew member
- Ensure customer satisfaction and safety at all times
- Enjoy customer interaction

Job Qualifications:

- Pre-employment and on-going random drug testing required for all marine personnel
- Minimum of Valid 50-Ton inland license
- Outgoing, professional, and energetic personality
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment
- Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
- Experience with hospitality and service standards
- Knowledge of Charles River and Boston Harbor, preferred, but not required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
