As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Production Associate to join our team and contribute to our success.

**Position Overview**:
Under the general supervision of the Production Manager, Senior Lead and Floor Supervisor, Production Associate (Product scaler, Packer, Sealer, distributor, and palletizer) must properly fill and weigh product according to product specifications. Packaged finished product. Perform visual checks of correct product weights labels, Batch/Lot codes and Best by Date. Production Associate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong odors and follow all Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S)

**Operations**:

- Perform tasks and adherence to all safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- Continuously and repeatedly fill and weigh product into bags or jars adjusting quantity to meet product specification requirements.
- Seal bags/Jars manually and or with sealing machine.
- Label bags/jars manually and or with Automatic machine.
- Count, pack, stack, label and wrap boxes and pallets
- Staged finished product in designated areas.
- Sort product as needed
- Perform visual checks of correct Product Weight, labels Lot codes Best by Dates.
- Wash Equipment Daily following procedures.
- Be responsible and follow attendance policies.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work in a team on the line or individually with little to no supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Perform other duties as required

**Required Qualifications**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team required.
- Ability to work overtime on short notice (frequent basis) and weekends.
- Ability to do scale reading
- Proficient in Basic Math.
- Proficient in reading and writing.
- Must be able to work independently or in team
- Must be able to work in a dusty environment / with strong odor.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time required.
- Ability to lift, 0.02 ounces -10 pounds on a consistent basis, 11-30 pounds on a frequent basis, and 40-50 pounds on an occasional basis and or when required.
- Ability to squat, crouch, bend, twist, lift, pull, reach, and walk frequently every day required.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.) required.

**Food Safety**:

- Establish, communicate, and sign Food Safety Policy.
- Define, review, and define action plans for food safety objectives.
- Ensure employees are informed on their food safety and regulatory responsibilities.
- Ensure adequate resources for implementation and maintenance of food safety system.
- Designate a competent, full-time SQF Practitioner.
- Review and define action plans during management review meetings.
- Participate in customer complaints investigation and resolution.
- Participate in food defense, food fraud, crisis management and recall decision-making.
- Approve and sign food safety plan.
- Participate in product development program, ensuring food safety requirements are met.
- Ensure the training needs of the site are resourced, implemented, and meet the requirements outlined in training program and that site personnel have met the required competencies to carry out those functions affecting the legality and safety of food products.
- Designate defined blackout periods that prevent unannounced re-certification audits from occurring out of season or when the site is not operating for legitimate business reasons. The list of blackout dates and their justification shall be submitted to the certification body a minimum of one (1) month before the sixty (60) day re-certification window for the agreed upon unannounced audit.
- Participate in the approval of materials and service providers.
- Ensure integrity of SQF system in the absence or changes of personnel.
- Overall support of food safety programs.
