Dental Biller

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biller to join our team. As a Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. Your expertise in medical coding, terminology, and billing systems will be essential in maintaining financial records and facilitating efficient payment processes. Duties: - Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate codes (ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG) for billing purposes - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and other third-party payers - Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility - Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, resolving any billing discrepancies or issues - Collaborate with medical office staff to ensure accurate documentation of services rendered - Monitor accounts receivable and identify any outstanding balances or delinquent payments - Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries or concerns - Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to medical billing Requirements: - Proven experience as a Biller in a medical office or healthcare setting - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9), and billing procedures - Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for billing purposes - Familiarity with medical collection practices and insurance claim processing - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, insurance companies, and colleagues Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.

Pay: $23.24 - $24.67 per hour
