Description:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for initiating and processing new or renewed orders, managing order exceptions or clarifications, and adjudicating insurance claims.

**Requirements**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Accurately and efficiently enter new or renewed orders
- Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
- Properly handle order exceptions and clarifications such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
- Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment

**Required Skills & Abilities**
- Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3 years preferred.
- Must possess a Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy Technician License.
- Experience with FrameworkLTC is required.
- Type an average of 40 wpm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Can meet order deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
- Can perform pharmacy calculations.
- Is available for occasional overtime.

**Physical Requirements**
- Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time.
- Repetitive motion deskwork.
