Position Summary

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in planning, organizing, and monitoring the receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received either from suppliers or production shops, ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner. With a constant focus on safety

**Responsibilities**:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

- **Pre-site Materials**:

- Pulling Po’s & Ordering Materials for upcoming jobs.
- Double checking order lists with materials that are in the warehouse to confirm that orders are 100% complete.
- Complete returns from previous days jobs, and bring to Pace, to ensure accurate job cost on completed jobs. ( Work with accounting on any return issues that may occur)
- **Totes**:

- Restocking Totes daily with all job materials and stage, making sure the tote is 100% complete and ready to go out on jobs.
- Looking at stock we have in the warehouse and making sure we have sufficient supplies to stock the totes for the week.
- If not, please supply the Warehouse Manager with a list of items that we need and are low on. (They will order supplies from proper vendor)
- **Service/Maintenance truck inventory**:

- Must make sure to complete all inventories on a quarterly basis. This includes ALL Service & Install Vehicles. Using provided Truck Inventory Checklists. (Make sure to use proper checklist, if unsure please ask)
- Get Quickbooks PO# from the Warehouse manager, for Pace and pull all missing inventory from the Pace store and place order for the remainder of missing items.. ( Make sure that Management is made aware regarding the inventory discrepancies)
- Make sure everything ordered gets delivered, communicate with Tech who’s vehicle it is what is still backordered.
- Complete daily truck replenishments from the previous day. (Make sure the Techs take supplies when they are ordered the next day; we don't want supplies sitting in their boxes.)
- **Loading Up Install Trucks**:

- Confirm that all Techs have everything they need to complete their jobs and help them load up their materials and equipment. ( Make sure that all pipe for the job has been given to the tech)
- If they need a truck stock PO direct them to the Warehouse Manager.
- **Keeping the Warehouse Clean & Organized**:

- Keeping the warehouse area clean, including the Garbage cans and the parking lot (Use Magnet Roller to save our tires from screws) should be done at least once a day.
- Sweeping the warehouse floor.
- Maintaining Work Area Organization. (Tote Supply Shelf, Uline Supplies.)
- Complete weekly restocking of the Pace store ensuring products are properly checked in and put in the correct location.
- **Checking Equipment In/out**:

- Taking Pics of any equipment given to Techs with Asset panda.
- Marking “Parts In” if ALL equipment is in.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager about any backordered equipment. (Warehouse Manager will also check and make sure everything was labeled and checked in accordingly as well as the pics were uploaded to Service Titan, this ensures the accuracy of orders received.)
- **Gas & ULINE Order Stock**:

- Communicate with Warehouse Manager on status of Uline & Gas Stock. (When we get down to 5 bottles of any gas let the Warehouse Manager know there's a 2 day lead time on all deliveries.)
- If you know something is running low, communicate with the Warehouse Manager.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of related experience working in warehousing or a similar industry
- Forklift certification and applicable state certification for truck and/or rail operation
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be a team player and meet deadlines
