Farm Worker

**Farm Worker / Laborer**

Private Farm looking for someone who is available to work part time - weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis.

Horse experience appreciated, but not required. Must be comfortable around horses and willing to learn.

Applicant should be a motivated, hard worker with good time management skills and the ability to work with little supervisor. Someone who can take initiative and has great attention to details.

Duties could include any of the following:

- Daily care for horses (feed, water, clean stalls)
- Grounds and facility maintenance (clean, safe and organized)
- Cut, mow and trim lawn/pastures
- Move hay bales by hand and/or using equipment
- Maintain pastures and horse buildings
- Repair farm fences and other structures

**Requirements**:

- Working outdoors year-round in all types of weather
- Prolonged walking, standing
- Safely operate machinery (gator, mower, chainsaw, etc)
- Ability to recognize injures or illness with herd

Part Time position

**Salary**: $12 - $18 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, with Weekend availability. Schedule will rotate as needed'
