- Perform optical tests and measurements, including visual acuity, lensometry, and tonometry.
- Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information.
- Prepare patients for examinations by ophthalmologists or optometrists.
- Clean and maintain optical equipment and instruments.
- Assist with front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.
- Provide retail sales assistance for eyewear products.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

- Previous experience in an optical or medical office setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology and physiology is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices is desired.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
