**Agency Producer**

**Summary**

Directly contributes to and supports sales goals of the agency to meet long-term and short-term goals for agency growth. This includes new business, cross-sell opportunities, customer service, retention, and profit goals.

**Core job duties include (but are not limited to)**:

- Must be licensed in Property & Casualty, and be willing to get licensed in Life, Accident and Health
- Solicits and writes new business
- Conduct open-end conversations to determine proper coverage
- Field underwriting and rating for new accounts
- Maintains knowledge of new products and initiatives. Pursue a program for development of personal and business skills
- Actively solicits expiration dates from new clients and prospects
- Develops agency relationship with existing clients by participating in onboarding communication, Farmers Friendly Reviews, customer service requests, and claims proicesses
- Reviews sales strategies and sales metrics to stay on task, focused, and motivated
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate and descriptive accounts of all customer interactions (eCMS)

**Required Licensing**

Property and Casualty

Life and Health Insurance is a plus - or willing to become licensed is a plus

**Pay**

Base pay - $2500 a month

Commission - Increasing scale based on new business commission performance

Bonus - Annual based on entire agency performance and individual contribution

**Physical environment**

Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

Occasional travel and participation in community marketing events.

**Preferred skills and abilities**

**Note: This position may require having the flexibility to work nonstandard hours/shifts and having the ability to adhere to a structured schedule. Some travel is required.**

Pay: $37,200.00 - $65,000.00 per year
