Electrophysiology Tech Cath Lab Full Time Days

**Up to $10,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience**
**Position Summary**:
Performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP), including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications.
**Position Qualifications**_(including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):_**
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or
Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI/CVT) or
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
EXPERIENCE:
One
- year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, EP Laboratory preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Radiologic Technologist
Radiologic Technology Registration/Licensure as required (ARRT)
Florida License CRT
RCIS within 12 months of hire required.
AHA ACLS Certification
AHA BLS Certification
or
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program
AHA BLS Certification
AHA ACLS Certification
Registry or Certification of Cardiovascular Technologist, RCES or RCIS within 12 months of hire.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Field of expertise: Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
Able to perform effectively in a complex, patient centered environment.
