**Job Summary**

The **Production Coordinator** will plan and coordinate production operations (stage, audio, video, IT) for assigned projects that come into the EMPAC facility. The Production Coordinator will have extensive communications and interaction with internal and external customers in order to plan events.

This is a 30 hour per week (on average, 0.75 FTE) position, and the incumbent will be eligible for participation in health insurance and retirement plan.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) or more years in related experience with performance arts/media event planning, productions, or management of multi-media events.

Relevant combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in a general operations role in a production environment
- Valid US Driver license

**Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Knowledge of portfolio goals and objectives
- Ability to identify and coordinate resources that may or may not be in immediate span of control.
- Ability to independently compose correspondence for internal and external constituents.
- Excellent planning, coordination, organizational and effective time management skills.
- Ability to independently resolve complex problems involving multiple variables and solutions in standard and unique situations.
- Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and customer focus that must be demonstrated and maintained.

**Shift**

Business Hours with weekends or evenings occasionally required

Local travel between campus locations only

Incidental driving possible, but not required

Starting Salary/Rate

**Expected hiring range: $20.00 - $23.00/hr**
