**IMAGINE ONE TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT, LTD.,** is seeking a mid-level **IT** **Configuration Specialist** to support the Surface Maintenance Engineering, Planning, Program (SURFMEPP). They maintain, monitor, and refine Class-wide and Individual-Ship Maintenance Plans for all non-nuclear surface ships to ensure material readiness for the projected service life, develop life-cycle strategies to address system upgrades, and fully implement the Class Maintenance Plan. SURFMEPP is headquartered at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Assists with SURFMEPP Command special projects.
- Validate perceived ship maintenance issues by conducting data driven analysis, presenting results in various forms such as Pareto charts, Venn diagrams, histograms, pie charts.
- Harvest and analyze data from various Navy ship maintenance databases.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Requires a BS Degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience in a data center environment and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a data center environment and a minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.

**Required Experience**:

- Experience working in and data management within the Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and Model Based Product Support (MBPS) system.
- Possess a wide range of experience using relational, network, hierarchical, object-oriented databases and demonstrated experience with Platform Logistic Management (PLM) software in support of performing comparative analysis.
- Experience with surface ship configuration management processes, i.e., RIC, ASI Files, RAD Web, etc.
- A thorough knowledge of computer technology and data processing techniques; knowledge and experience with digital document management**.**

**Requested Experience**:

- Demonstrated ability to develop, test and deploy effective intranet sites.
- Demonstrated ability to pull data and run reports with the CDMD-OA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Surface Ship Class Maintenance Planning processes
- Strong knowledge of the Surface Ship Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
