Hostess/cashier

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing reservations, and handling cash transactions. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Provide accurate wait times and update guests on their status
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Process cash transactions using Aloha POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Assist with answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations

**Skills**:

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest relations abilities
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food service procedures and standards
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
