All Island Countertops & Millwork Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Stone Countertop Installer to join our interior team in Long Island, NY.

The Installer is responsible for the installation of Natural Stone, Quartz and Porcelain countertops and slab walls within the Suffolk and Nassau County area.

The position requies the ability to work Monday to Friday from 7 Am to 3 pm with being able to work overtime if needed. Flexibility in finishing time is sometimes needed. A current and valid driver's license is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Completes installation projects, individually and with team members.
- Executes project assignments from start to finish, ensuring final project meets expectations.
- Provides direction and supervision to Helpers and Senior Helpers.
- Manages material and equipment allocation to team assigned for project. Ensures tools and supplies are fully operational, clean and utilized in the manner they are permitted for.
- Communicates directly with customers, contractors and other site personnel.
- Maintains overall awareness of job status and requirements. Provides regular communication to Supervisor throughout project and immediately relays out of project scope changes or problems, concerns, or discrepancies.
- Loads and unloads material for installation or delivery.
- Drives delivery trucks (box and pick-up).
- Promotes safety standards, including lifting and handling techniques, personal protective equipment and general housekeeping.
- Conducts field measurement and templating where required.

Education and/or Knowledge/Experience includes:

- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
- Current and valid Driver’s License is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted and the ability to lift as a team is required.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and frequently climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl is required.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and tape measure is essential.
- Must have ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, and be able to travel to job sites throughout the state and surrounding counties.
- Previous stone countertop installation experience.
- Knowledge and experience of carpentry and/or tiling is preferred.
- Additional experience as a maintenance person or kitchen/bathroom installation is beneficial.
- Basic computer skills including the ability to use a tablet.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
