Temporary Construction AP/AR Specialist (May 2024 - September 2024)

We have an immediate opening for an energetic, hardworking AP/AR Specialist to join our growing Construction office on a temporary basis. The person in this role will be 100% on site and responsible for assisting the Accounting team with various accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career path or expand in the field of Construction Accounting. This position could lead to a permanent position after September 2024 in many different opportunities within our Company as you gain experience and as we continue to grow.

Duties Include but not limited to:

- Gathering customer information for and submitting preliminary notices
- Researching and submitting Releases to customers
- Reconciling vendor invoices, managing credits to accounts and entering in QuickBooks
- Entering subcontractor invoices in QuickBooks for payment.
- Receiving payments from customers - entering checks in QuickBooks, making bank deposits electronically and processing credit card payments
- Following up on past due accounts

Programs that will be used: QuickBooks, DTS, Outlook

This is an hourly position with pay depending on experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
