**WHO WE ARE**:High Point Christian School was founded in 1975 as a ministry of what is now High Point Church, a non-denominational, evangelical fellowship serving the greater Madison area. **LOCATION**:We are located on Madison's west side, near multiple businesses and residential areas. Our location also has convenient access to bus lines, the beltline, and bike trails. Our beltline access connects most nearby neighborhoods and towns by 10-15 minutes Madison consistently ranks among the best in the nation for almost everything including fantastic bike trails, safe neighborhoods, great healthcare, excellent education, amazing music venues and diverse restaurants.

**SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS**:

- Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior
- Believe that the Bible is God's word and standard for faith and daily living
- Be in agreement with High Point Church's Statement of Faith and HPCS' Christian Philosophy of education
- Strive to be a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions towards others

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Show evidence of Christian maturity
- Have a strong grasp of the essence of Christian education
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree from an _accredited_ college or university
- Must hold _or_ be eligible to obtain an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) teaching certification
- Have excellent written and verbal communication
- Basic understanding of computer systems and technology

**BENEFITS AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Salary - $34,000.00 - $50,000.00; commensurate with experience
- Position as Music Teacher is considered 1.0 FTE
