Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented NEMT Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The NEMT Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily operations of our transportation services, ensuring that all schedules are met, and that patients are transported safely and efficiently. This role also includes clerical and administrative duties to support the overall operations of the company.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and schedule transportation services for patients to and from medical appointments.
- Monitor real-time vehicle locations and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Communicate with drivers to provide route information, updates, and support.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including trip details, driver logs, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers to ensure transportation needs are met.
- Assist with route planning and optimization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed.
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage and organize transportation-related paperwork and digital records.
- Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations of the office.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a dispatcher, preferably in the transportation or healthcare industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and other relevant technology.
- Experience with EverTransit and MediRoutes is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
