Overview:
St. Joseph Hospital, located in Bethpage NY, is a not-for-profit full service, 203-bed, community hospital that plays a paramount role in its communities. Job Details:
**Responsibilities**:

- The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintaining patient records and assisting in filling Intravenous antibiotics.
- Filling, trouble shooting and maintain automated dispensing machine.
- Delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule.
- Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- NYS Pharmacy Technician registration required.
- PTCB or NHA certification required.
- Experience in an acute care facility Pharmacy department strongly preferred

Posted Salary Range: USD $27.01 - USD $27.01 /Hr.:
