Technical Instructor is responsible for creating and maintaining technical learning program curriculum within ReedHycalog Business Unit. He/she possesses the ability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from ReedHycalog and/or other Business Units in leading the development of a learning curriculum covering the operational, technical knowledge, and skills requirement through a well-structured On-the-Job Training. The said learning curriculum will assist the employee in achieving the competency requirement for a given role within the organization to support NOV ReedHycalog’s vision and business objectives. Possessing practical experience with ReedHycalog products, the Technical Instructor will also deliver the related technical learning and training events, whether through Instructor-Led Training (ILT) or Virtual
Instructor-Led Training (VILT) to a variety of audiences, ranging from new employees to customers. Using currently available technologies, he/she maintains the learning/training curriculum to meet and/or adapt to the changing business objectives. Additionally, he/she will support the competency program, by collaborating with the SMEs in the development of competency unit(s), assisting the program introduction and becoming an Assessor for a given qualified competency unit.

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Leads in technical curriculum development designed to improve the employee’s knowledge and skills in conjunction with a set of defined competencies
- Create and develop various learning programs and training experiences, including learning content on eLearning platform, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) and Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
- Deliver learning and/or training designed to improve the knowledge & skills of employees in conjunction with defined competencies
- Monitor, record and analyze the effectiveness of learning/training programs
- Support sales activities by providing Client training on ReedHycalog products and services
- Participates in the development and testing of eLearning content
- Supports the competency program as defined in the Job Summary
- Adhere to NOV’s HSE policy
- All other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Teaching experience (desirable)

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Valid passport and driver’s license
- Travel is required (15% of time)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Words, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)
