CDTi is looking for a Maintenance & Facilities Technician, this position will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot production line equipment failures, repairs and will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities. This position is also responsible for ensuring the safe and effective cleaning and upkeep of CDTi and its premises. The Maintenance & Facilities Technician will be responsible for ensuring that his/her required tasks are completed thoroughly, on time, and with mínimal supervision.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Essential**:
**Maintenance**:

- Responsible for the daily inspection of manufacturing equipment.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists and power tools.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Perform preventative maintenance of production equipment.
- Responsible for working with & managing various vendors.
- Responsible for miscellaneous maintenance activities

**EHS/Facilities**:

- Complete facilities work requests.
- Prepare, set up and clean-up of rooms and facilities for visitors, tours, meetings, parties, or other activities.
- Responsible for maintaining first aid kits, fire extinguishers and eyewash/safety showers.
- Data downloading and maintenance of gas monitors.
- Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.

**Janitorial**:

- Maintains outside grounds (keep picnic tables clean, sweep trash enclosures, building entrances and trash from surrounding parking.
- Zamboni production & warehouse floors.
- Mop and buff laboratory floors.
- Empty production, laboratory, and outside trash receptacles.
- Wash windows.

**Other**:

- Driving to pick up supplies/materials from local vendors.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 3 but less than 5 years of similar experience in the areas as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic Electrical Safety.
- Experience in Log Out Tag Out procedures.
- Experience servicing and repairing robotic equipment, automation, or similar type equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance.
- Technical Understanding.
- Basic Safety.
- Power Tools.
- Attention to Detail.
- Flexibility with hours (Weekend work).
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Ability to use sound judgment.
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.

**Education/ Experience**
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certificate in Technical Maintenance
