**Job Description: Auto Body Shop Manager**

**Overview**:
As an Auto Body Shop Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our automotive repair facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and exceptional customer service. Your role involves managing a team of technicians and administrative staff, coordinating workflow, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and motivate a team of auto body technicians, painters, and administrative staff.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure a skilled and cohesive workforce.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
- **Operational Management**:

- Schedule workflow and assign tasks to optimize productivity and meet deadlines.
- Monitor work progress and quality to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- **Customer Service**:

- Interact with customers to understand their repair needs and provide accurate estimates.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service and quality repairs.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct quality inspections on completed repairs to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
- **Financial Management**:

- Monitor expenses and control costs to maximize profitability.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including budgets and revenue projections.
- **Business Development**:

- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
- Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote the shop's services and reputation.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in automotive repair and management, preferably in an auto body shop setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of auto body repair techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with estimating software and industry regulations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Business acumen and understanding of financial principles.

**Education and Certification**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive technology or management is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work primarily in a shop environment, which may involve physical activity and exposure to automotive chemicals and fumes.
- Flexible hours may be required based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
