**We are seeking an outstanding individual to join us at our Blandon facility: This is a great opportunity for an individual to work in an established and growing organization.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work within the framework of the dispatch operation to augment with current dispatch staff to track and communicate with Common Carriers to ensure prompt check calls.
- Track and report trailers that do not have functioning tracking equipment units to EHS so that the units can be updated and made to work in the system properly on a timely basis.
- Work with the Produce Pro system to load Bill of Ladings, scan loading sheets, allocate product, enter trailer numbers and complete proper check-in/check-out steps.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task based on urgency of tasks.
- Communicate effectively to both internal and external customers (verbally & written)
- Ensure drop trailers are being used efficiently as a part of the dispatch function.
- Review company driver incidents as reported to dispatch and decide:

- Who needs to be contacted and when.
- Report equipment damage and incidents by company drivers to EHS monthly for bonus adjustments.
- Help drivers finds more effective ways to keep out fleet safe and functioning legally (Routing vs. Hours of Service)
- Complete all necessary regulatory paperwork for all loads including LTL, Cans, Bioterrorism and ASN labels for loads and complete trip sheets, expense sheets and trip route ticket for drivers.
- Create bills for each load with correct product count, quantity of pallets and type of pallets.
- Collect documentation for temperature checks for each trip.
- Complete necessary reports to verify all loads were sent out and marked as shipped at EOD.
- Work with the Customer Service team to provide updates and gather information when needed.
- All other duties assigned by the Logistics Manager

**Experience**:

- Basic computer skills
- Truck and trailer knowledge preferred
- Understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and a copy of the regulations.
- Ability to read written instructions and understand verbal communication to complete the work assignments correctly.
- Ability to work independently relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish tasks.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42 per week
