Overview:
I am seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to enter paper printouts of income and expenses into an Excel spreadsheet, then Freshbooks. Then export to a tax return.

Initialy need data entry of all paper printouts of income of my small business and cabin rental. For 2022 and 2023. So as we can file 2022 and 2023 taxes. (have extensions on both). Then end of every quarter do the same data entry so as we can export and file 2024 and after.

**Duties**:

- Transcribe data from various sources into electronic format
- Perform basic mathematical calculations to verify data accuracy
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all data entered
- Create and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel,

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
- Proficient typing skills with the ability to type accurately and quickly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in data
- Familiarity with basic mathematical calculations
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data entry and analysis

This is a Contractor position with competitive hourly pay. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will have the opportunity to work on your own schedule at your home. I will initially meet and hand you my 2022 and 2023 printouts and discuss what each Doc is so as to enter into correct business and category. Very simple after you become comfortable with what my business's do and where to enter. Then I will mail or drop off end of quarter Docs for entry.

Prefer a person that lives in the East Bay as I will need to get the Docs to you.
