The original pizzeria and restaurant was named "Anton's Pizzeria" and was opened just 2 years after moving to Long Island from Sicily. Since then it has grown into a fantastically successful and unforgettable restaurant experience known as La Volpe Restaurant & Anton Brick Oven Pizzeria. The Villa-style location officially opened just across the street from the original Anton's Pizzeria in 2006.**

**La Volpe Restaurant is one of the most popular family-owned Italian restaurants on the east end of Long Island. People from all over Suffolk County and Long Island make a regular trip to La Volpe to experience some of the most authentic Italian cuisine and atmosphere.**

**As a pizza maker at Anton's, you have several responsibilities that ensure the quality and safety of the food you prepare. Some of these responsibilities are**:

- Preparing the dough, sauce, cheese and toppings according to the recipes and standards of Anton's Pizzeria.
- Shaping, stretching and topping the pizzas according to the orders and preferences of the customers.
- Baking the pizzas in the oven, monitoring the cooking time and temperature, and checking for doneness and appearance.
- Cutting, boxing and labeling the pizzas for delivery or takeout, or serving them to the customers in the dining area.
- Cleaning and sanitizing the work area, utensils and equipment before, during and after each shift.
- Following the health and safety regulations and guidelines of the pizzeria and the local authorities.
- Communicating effectively with your co-workers, managers and customers, and providing courteous and professional service.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
