**Duties**:

- Perform clinical tasks such as taking patient vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, including administering injections, collecting laboratory specimens, and performing basic wound care
- Conduct basic diagnostic tests, such as EKGs and X-rays, under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical records, test results, and treatment plans
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and answering phone calls
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare role preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with coding procedures and medical-surgical practices
- Experience working in urgent care or similar fast-paced healthcare settings is a plus
- Ability to perform basic life support techniques in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages, including geriatric patients

**Requirements**:

- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate demeanor and ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Must speak English and Spanish fluently
