Hey there We're Puretec Industrial Water, a name that's pretty well-known around these parts for turning water into... well, really high-purity water. It’s not magic; it’s science, and a bit of hard work. Speaking of hard work, we're on the lookout for a Regional Plant Manager who's ready to dive in and keep our three processing centers (Oxnard & San Jose, CA, and Gilbert, AZ) in shipshape.

What You’ll Be Doing**: You're the captain of the ship, overseeing our plants where we regenerate ion exchange resins. For a tour of one of our facilities, click here. You’ll need to make sure we're hitting our production requirements, our equipment is humming nicely without hiccups, we’re bringing on board great operators, and training them to be even better. Leadership? We want it in spades. You’ll have 3 lead regeneration supervisors and a maintenance supervisor looking to you for direction. Overall, there are 34 people in the regeneration departments.
- **Who You Are**: Someone who loves the challenge of keeping operations running smoothly and has experience with managing production and people. You’ve got a knack for making sure things run efficiently, and you’re as comfortable on the plant floor as you are analyzing production metrics. You are comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously and have a bias towards action. If you love a corporate bureaucracy, then you will not be happy here

Travel**: You’ll be based out of Oxnard, Ca 70% of the time, with the remaining 30% traveling between San Jose, CA and Gilbert, AZ, so a willingness to travel is key.

- Must have organizational and leadership experience in planning work for and directing personnel.
- Ability to identify and measure material.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and uses.
- Ability to read P.I.&D., calipers, tape measures and angle gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.
- Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
- Ability to effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Ability to use data analysis to develop processes to help predict problem areas and identify areas of opportunity.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Tact, diplomacy, and calmness, especially when dealing with disgruntled customers and employees.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability and experience in executing project plans for growth and operational improvements.
- Strong English, written and oral, communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Must maintain a positive, friendly, supportive attitude and professional image at all times.
- Ability to work independently and within a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
