Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Make sure PPE is a priority for temp and internal workers
- Have experience with OSHA
- Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Train employees on safety protocols and provide ongoing safety education
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and procedures
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and report any violations or concerns
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate with external agencies, such as OSHA, as necessary

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of production planning, procurement, order fulfillment, warehouse supervision, shipping/receiving, continuous improvement systems, forklift operations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to employees at all levels
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
