The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at INTEX Millwork Solutions will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within our organization. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this position will oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving, including coordination of shipping activities, monitoring inventory, and maintaining compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards.
- **Primary duties and Responsibilities will be**:_
- Supervise a team of Shipping and Receiving Material Handlers/Forklift Operators, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Practices strong engagement with direct reports and team members including accepting diversity of ideas and thoughts, sharing responsibility for success, demonstrating honesty and integrity, helping employees solve problems and showing respect. 
- Assists with planning work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels, to ensure that activities are performed effectively, and to respond to fluctuating workloads. 
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing/Shipping and Receiving
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role overseeing at least 6-10 direct reports
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
