Julien’s is a new Farm Store and Bakery / Café in Granby, Connecticut, and was created to serve seasonal food and baked goods. The response from the region's residents has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to grow into our full potential and meet the demands. Everything is made from scratch with love each morning. Our menu, drinks, garden, and offerings change as we go, evolving with the seasons and the needs of our community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with Julien to develop and execute growing menu of prepared foods as well as grab-and-go
- Chef's focus will be on the savory portion of our growing offering
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistency
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work area
- Collaborate with Julien kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a chef in a similar, commercial role is required -- this is non-negotiable
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes or modify existing ones

Note: Bartending experience is not relevant to the position of Chef.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
