**The purpose of the role**:
The offsite warehouse material handlers are responsible for loading / unloading trucks, staging material for shipment, and ensuring accurate handling of materials

**Job Duties May Include**:

- Maintains a safe and clean work area and equipment and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Pulls raw material for usage; receiving raw material; moving WIP product.
- Monitors product for quality defects.

**If that sounds like you....here's what we need in terms of education and experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Stand-up forklift experience preferred.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred. NOTE: Some assignments require the use of air powered tools / hand tools. Experience using hand tools preferred.
- Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow directions. High attention to detail.
- Exercises independent initiative/judgement in work methods.
- Ability to lead by example, respectfully work with a team, and communicate with clarity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English speaking and comprehension required.

This job operates in a manufacturing environment, and the employee is regularly exposed to loud noises and machinery in an environment that is hot in the summer / cool in the winter. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment including eye protection, hearing protection, work boots, hardhats, etc.

**Physical requirements**
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance, and occasionally lift greater than 50 pounds. Ability to endure heat in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration, repetitive motion, bending, lifting, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing and/or pulling. While performing this position, the employee frequently works near powered forklifts, power tools, and automated assembly machinery.

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend

**Education**:

- STAND UP FORKLIFT DRIVING: 1 year (preferred)
- SIT DOWN FORKLIFT DRIVING: 1 year (preferred)
