**Housekeepers are responsible for daily cleaning of resident quarters, public and private areas, and any project cleaning as directed by supervisor. Also responsible for the daily collection, cleaning, and distribution of laundry and linen items, and other duties as assigned.

**Duties Include**:

- Empty wastebaskets and remove trash.
- Damp wipe all furniture.
- Clean and polish metal and porcelain restroom fixtures.
- Dust and wet mop floors of all assigned areas.
- Spot clean walls and windows. Polish metal surfaces.
- Replenish room supplies.
- Perform check-out cleaning as prescribed.
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spills as requested or observed
- Sanitize all beds per established procedure and complete pull-outs.
- Work closely with Nursing Dept. to accomplish all tasks.

**Job Requirements/Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently

**Schedule**:

- Must work every other weekend and every other Holiday
