Concord, United States Office of Public Guardian Full time

Full time Fiduciary Specialist position available with the Office of Public Guardian (OPG). OPG is a non-profit organization based in Concord, providing legal guardianship and financial management services statewide on behalf of adults with memory impairment, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disability and mental illness.

In this rewarding role, you will create and manage budgets, balance accounts and pay bills for clients. Your work ensures incapacitated adults have safe housing, food and utilities among other necessities.

Knowledge of State or Federal benefits, such as Social Security Income, Veteran’s benefits or Medicaid/Medicare is helpful, but OPG is willing to train the right individual. Excellent math, verbal and written communication skills are required, in additional to high integrity, discretion, accountability and compassion.

In this role you will join a team of nearly 20, having access to peers and supervisors for support while also enjoying autonomy. The work is fast paced and you will not get bored. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, social work or related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered. A hybrid schedule is an option once fully trained and proficient with workload.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
