This two-unit course This course introduces students to data analysis and visualization techniques for the legal profession using Python programming language. Students will learn essential coding skills, data manipulation techniques, web scraping, and visualization methods relevant to legal contexts. Through hands-on exercises and case studies, students will develop practical skills applicable to research, analysis, and decision-making.

USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year but, in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean.
