- **Positions open starting in May - June through August 2024.**:

- **Hourly work hours Day Time Monday - Friday (no nights or weekends)**

**Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities -** Part time hours (4-6 hours per day) and Full Time Hours (7-8 hours per day) - all roles are scheduled Monday - Friday day shift (no nights or weekends required)

What does a Summer Associate learn about and do?
- Understanding the logistics and operations of our commercial, institutional, and wholesale business operations
- Stores materials/equipment as needed in the facility.
- Upholds environmental health and safety standards.
- Works closely with internal customers such as Distribution Center team members, Branch Associates and Sales Managers)
- Provides excellent customer service to external customers who visit the site (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners)
- Learn parts tracking and management process to maintain parts and supplies and pull orders when needed.
- Collaborate with forklift team to support material handling to plan for the staging, loading, and unloading product process.
- Other duties as assigned by the Distribution Center Manager
- Follows safety procedures and training to ensure a safe and productive workspace.
- Willing to work a daily schedule from approximately 8:00am - 4:00pm (some teams may plan a work schedule that can flex up to 60 minutes to support the business needs.)

**Requirements**:

- Ability to learn processes and follow detailed instructions
- Training or experience with reviewing written task requirements or orders to complete a process or task
- Previous training or experience in retail, customer service, material handling or product delivery or similar service related experience or training a plus
- Ability to safely work in a warehouse and distribution environment
- Recent grads and students are welcome - must be 18 years of age or older to be considered
- Willingness to train and learn - also, if you have general experience supporting retail, warehouse and logistics, pulling and tracking parts or materials and tracking information is preferred, but not required
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills to enter time card, review training materials and view video tutorials and review company documents on a company provided computer
- Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment
- Must be team-oriented and willing to work with a diverse group of co-workers

Other Important Notes:

- Summer Associates must complete both a Pre-employment Background Check and a Drug Screen urinalysis prior to hire (company paid)
- Our Summer Associates and team members are paid bi-weekly (every other Friday)
