**Position**: Freight Broker/Sales Agent
**Compensation**: Salary + Commission-Based

Key Responsibilities:

- **Business Development**: Identify, qualify, and generate new business by adding and retaining clients to achieve set revenue and gross profit goals.
- **Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships.
- **Documentation**: Complete all necessary paperwork for new customer and carrier setups.
- **Shipment Coordination**: Ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments, managing all associated paperwork including quotes, rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, etc.
- **Problem Solving**: Provide effective solutions for any issues that arise during the shipping process.
- **Rate Negotiation**: Negotiate rates with both carriers and customers to ensure competitive pricing.
- **Customer Service**: Manage day-to-day shipping needs of customers and track and trace shipments to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications:

- **Experience**: At least 1-2 years of freight broker/sales agent experience.
- **Education**: High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics, Sales and Marketing preferred but not required).
- **Skills**: Strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based software.
- **Attributes**: Self-motivated, assertive, able to work independently and within a team, and possess effective negotiation skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
