- Specific duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Training Needs Assessment:

- Conduct regular assessments with department heads and employees to identify specific training needs and skill gaps within the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest technological trends and organizational changes that might necessitate new training.- Curriculum Development:

- Design and develop training curricula that cater to the varying levels of tech proficiency across the organization.
- Update existing training materials to reflect any new software updates, technological tools, or best practices.- Scheduling and Coordination:

- Plan and schedule training sessions based on the availability of employees and the urgency of training needs.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including room bookings, equipment setup, and maintenance/concurrency of materials.- Conducting Training Sessions:

- Deliver training sessions in various formats such as in-person workshops, one-on-one coaching, and webinars.
- Use engaging training methods and tools to enhance learning outcomes, such as interactive sessions, hands-on practice, and group discussions.- Evaluating Training Effectiveness:

- Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collect feedback from participants to identify areas for improvement and measure the increase in competency post-training.- Technology Advocacy:

- Act as a champion for the adoption of new technologies within the organization.
- Encourage continuous learning and exploration of technology among employees.- Support and Follow-Up:

- Provide ongoing support and resources to employees post-training to ensure technology adoption and to address any questions or challenges.
- Conduct follow-up sessions or refresher courses as needed to reinforce learning and proficiency.- Collaboration with IT and Other Departments:

- Work closely with the IT department and software vendors to understand the technical aspects and updates of tools and systems.
- Liaise with department heads to align training with organizational goals and department-specific needs.- Maintaining Records:

- Keep detailed records of training activities, attendance, and progress of participants.
- Analyze data from training sessions to identify trends, successes, and areas needing attention.- Professional Development:

- Stay informed about best practices in technology training and adult learning principles.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in technology and training methodologies.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Baccalaureate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field. Some positions may require a master's degree

or specific technical certifications.- Certifications related to instructional design or adult education, such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+).
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and online teaching platforms.
- Ability to keep up with technological advancements and learn new technologies as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design, including the ability to create engaging lesson plans and materials.
- Proficient in various teaching methodologies suited for adult learners, including hands-on training, online instruction, and classroom teaching.
- Ability to assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Experience working in a technology-related field, providing a practical perspective to the training material.
- Previous experience as a trainer, teacher, or educator, particularly in technology or a related field, is highly beneficial.
- Patience and adaptability to cater to learners with different skill levels and learning speeds.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate learners.
- Problem-solving skills to address technical issues that may arise during training.
- Familiarity with e-learning development tools and software.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
