We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Production Supervisor within our Specialty Foam Business Unit** **to help support our Bedding** **business. Did you know we have been revolutionizing the sleep industry since 1883? That’s right In fact, we hold the original patent on a spiral steel coil bed spring, filed way back in 1885. Since then, we have been an industry leader in guaranteeing you get the best sleep possible. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

**So, what will you be doing as a Production Supervisor?**
- Plan work schedules, assign duties, and ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain efficient operations
- Monitor workflow, address variations from production schedules, and coordinate with other supervisors
- Ensure employees have the necessary tools, training, and support to perform their jobs effectively
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems and improve processes
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and process orders to facilitate material flow
- Perform quality checks and ensure adherence to standards and specifications

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need**:

- High school diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost management
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, order entry systems, and other relevant software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
