- agency and intra-agency communication and relationship.

The employee provides direct service to clients and their families placed in a psychiatric rehabilitation program and oversees the clinical component of services provided. The employee shall be in philosophical agreement with program goals and the program model.

An initial training period of approximately one month is required and in-service/workshop training will be arranged with expenses covered by the agency. Involvement in a continuous, formal education program is encouraged. The job is currently classified as exempt.

Qualifications and

**Required Skills**:
Masters Degree in human services field (i.e., social work, sociology, psychology, education counseling, etc.). Two years experience in rendering child oriented services, and a practicum field experience at an accredited college desirable.

Licensed/certification in clinical discipline in Maryland.

Demonstrates expertise in staff supervision, evaluation, development and training, and state regulations and JCAHO Accreditation. Demonstrates proficiency in the field of behavioral health. Demonstrates proficiency in communication & written skills.

To ensure all referral information is coordinated, gathered, and interpreted according to regulations. Attend or delegate screening on all potential clients.

Development and implementation of client services (including assessments, treatment & rehabilitation plans, discharges, etc.) in coordination with PRP Direct Care Workers ensuring that the needs of each client is met. Maintains program within agency manual guidelines and state licensing regulations.

Maintains program within JCAHO standards and COMAR requirements.

Participates in and communicates with the Treatment Team for planning and review purposes as needed.

Attends and/or facilitates (if designated by PRP Supervisor weekly staff team meetings - client centered.

Supervision of services provided by direct care staff and assists with scheduling, training, and evaluating. Shall educate direct care staff on how to document the correlation between rehabilitation activities and the goals identified in the IRP or ITRP

Ensures that regular communication is maintained with a child's family and help with coordination of services with any other agencies working with that child and family. Maintains regular communication with referring agencies. Knowledge of PI Process.

Follows through on any request by the Chief Administrator, Chief Medical Officer and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program Supervisor relevant to the operation of the PRP or related to appropriate business of the umbrella corporation, CBH Services.
