Jove Laboratories manufactures liquid bulk products on-site to support filling of towelette sachets, liquid bottles, and product packaging in many formats.

With an on-site quality lab, Jove Laboratories operates with clean spaces, along with the environment and engineering controls to comply with FDA requirements for GMP production facilities.

- **Key responsibilities**:

- **Purchasing**:

- Source and procure raw materials and components required for cosmetics production.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- **Production Planning**:

- Collaborate with production teams to create and manage production schedules.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess.
- Reconcile production orders and issue materials once completed.
- **ERP System**:

- Utilize the ERP system for efficient order processing, tracking, and reporting.
- Generate and analyze reports to optimize production and purchasing processes.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on procurement, production, and inventory status.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
- Prepare reports on purchasing, production, and inventory metrics.
- **QMS Compliance**:

- Work in compliance with QMS standards for cosmetic products.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.
- Participate in internal and external audits as necessary.
- **Qualifications**:

- Over the age of 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Previous experience in a purchasing or production planning role is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Intermediate math skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly proficient with ERP systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changes in production schedules and priorities.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Physical presence on site required to perform all duties
- Ability to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift.
- Mobility to work in typical office and field (warehouse/production) settings and use standard office equipment.
- Strength to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
- Regularly wear a hairnet, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection and steel-toed shoes for the duration of your workday.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
