Animal Outreach of Cape May County, a feline adoption facility in West Cape May, NJ, has an open position for an Adoption Center Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Center and the daily care of adoptable cats and kittens. Applicant must love working with animals; have excellent interpersonal skills; be organized and accurate; and have basic computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. Proven leadership and problem-solving skills required. Two years of animal shelter management preferred.
Approximately 20 hours/week (flexible hours)$18.00/hour Responsibilities include the following:

- Ensure animals within the Center receive high-quality care while aiming to locate suitable homes for them.
- Oversee all adoptions with the assistance of an adoption team.
- Oversee animal surrenders and intakes according to developed procedures.
- Arrange for veterinary appointments as necessary, including transport, and keep accurate records of test results, medications, and paperwork.
- Work with vet tech to coordinate monthly health-check visits.
- Coordinate fundraising events.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
