- 1. Teaches within the Health Science Department Cardiovascular Sonography (CVS) program.
- 2. Supervises student research in the CVS MHSc program.
- 3. Engages in research, publications, and other scholarly activities.
- 4. Presents ideas clearly.
- 5. Creates a climate that is conducive to learning.
- 6. Provides and maintains a reliable schedule of office hours for student advising, tutoring, remediation, and consultation.
- 7. Participates in department, college-wide, and university-wide committees and meetings.
- 8. Engages in curriculum development related to current and new courses.
- 9. Possesses working knowledge of statistics
- 10. Maintains a personal professional development plan, which may include research or other creative activities, to assure growth and currency within the academic field.
- 11. Displays behavior consistent with professional ethics.
- 12. Selects teaching and evaluation strategies appropriate to the students and setting.
- 13. Adaptability and willingness to teach courses and/or perform special duties as assigned.

- ARDMS registered in cardiac or vascular.**Required Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree**Major (if required)**:
**Required Experience**:

- 1. Five (5) years of related experience and/or training, including research; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2. Experience in a clinical, research, or academic health care, medical, or health professions education environment is required.
- 3. Must obtain a Master's degree in appropriate area of specialization within three years of employment.
- 4. Doctoral degree in appropriate area of specialization to be completed within seven (7) years of employment or within seven (7) years after obtaining a Master's degree.**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 1. Prefer additional registry in vascular technology (RVT or RVS).
